- ABSTRACT
- Two partially deuterated liquid crystalline monomers 1,2 and side-chain polymers 3,4 there-from were synthesized. The principalorder parameter and biaxiality of the monomers were determined from their 1H and 2H NMR spectra.The 2H orientational order of the polymers were also evaluated, which showed the coesistence of different phases over certain ranges of temperature
